Brief report on monitoring and control of macadamia nut diseases and insect pests in Yunnan

According to meteorological forecasts, in 2021, the temperature and precipitation in the macadamia nut planting areas in Yunnan Province will be higher than in previous years. It is predicted that in 2021, there will be moderate occurrence of macadamia pests and severe diseases. The damage of thrips, stink bugs, fruit borers and other pests occurred moderately; leaf blight and branch withering occurred moderately, and black fruit disease (black spot) was more prevalent.
