On May 5, the country's first agricultural carbon sink trading platform was launched in Xiamen, Fujian. Through the issuance of the first batch of agricultural carbon tickets, the 7,755-mu ecological tea gardens with a total of 3,357 tons of agricultural carbon sinks were signed as the first agricultural carbon sink trading projects in the country, helping the integration of carbon peaking, carbon neutrality strategies and rural revitalization.

Approved by Yunnan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs and formally established in September 2014.
