The 2023 crop production was 78 091 tonnes of dry nut-in-shell, with a moisture content of 1.5%. This marks a substantial increase of 13.44% compared to the 2022 crop,which yielded 68 840 tonnes.
Predicting the forecast for the 2024 crop at this juncture proves challenging. However, current data suggests a consistent growth trajectory for this season's crop, with an estimated yield of approximately 90 135 tonnes. This upward trend can be largely attributed to new plantings reaching maturity and starting production.
